Release of our new IP system

 

IRIS Instruments is proud to announce the release of a completely new IP system. 

Let's discover the 20 channels Elrec Terra IP receiver (available in Standard or Switch version) and the very new TIP 6000 and TIP 12000 high power transmitters. 

This system has been designed to increase efficiency on the field and data accuracy, in particular with the new 100% duty-cycle (or on-time IP) mode that will allow you to divide by 2 the acquisition time while doubling the IP signal.

New TIPIX Master-Slave mode

IRIS Instruments is proud to announce the new Master-Slave mode ability on old and new TIPIX systems (TIPIX 2200 and 3000).

The MASTER-SLAVE mode allows to connect two TIPIX in series, whatever their power. This type of connection adds the maximum voltage and power of the two systems to increase the amount of current injected on medium to high contact resistance values. 

As an example, two TIPIX 3000 connected in series are able to work at 5000 V (10000 Vpp) and 6kW power. Read our brochure for more information.

The use of the MASTER-SLAVE mode is very easy as it is automatically recognized and the combined system maximum voltage and power is automatically updated. The two TIPIX can be powered by a single motor generator making the complete system light and portable

Prosys V4

The PROSYS II software is a program allowing to transfer, edit, process and export resistivity and chargeability data of the IRIS Instruments resistivity-meters (SYSCAL) and IP receivers (ELREC).

The main functions of the PROSYS II software are the following ones: 
● Data download 
● Numeric and graphic presentation (raw parameters, resistivity, chargeability,…) 
● Processing (filter on threshold values, apply a sliding or median average, reject a node, reject the gapfiller quadripoles, create a batch file with a specific filtering to apply to a set of files,…) 
● Topography insertion 
● Plot of the apparent resistivity and chargeability sections 
● Export to various formats (″txt″, Res2dinv,…) and visualization of the exported files

TIP One

The TIP One is purposely designed for shallow induced polarisation or Resistivity sounding investigations. 

The TIP One injects a regulated current or regulated voltage into the ground via a simple 12V battery.
